Marley Clark Mysteries

This traditional mystery series features a 52-year-old, retired military intelligence officer, who now works security on Dear Island, a private resort in the South Carolina Lowcountry. In Dear Killer, Marley is engaged in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game with a pun-loving killer. The widow also must come to grips with Detective Braden Mann's interest in her as more than a law enforcement colleage.

Smart Women, Dumb Luck
Romantic Suspense

A mentoring program at Blue Ridge University—dumb luck—brings three smart women together. Riley Reid, an FBI agent, mentors coeds Nexi Ketts and Kate Johnson at her alma mater. Years later, the trio remains fast friends. They know they can count on each other whenever dumb luck turns bad.

1938 Historical Suspense

Sometimes, I get an itch to write a story that's not part of a series.
That's why I wrote the standalone novel, LIES: Secrets Can Kill. This 1938 cocktail of lies, love, and murder is set in an era that was tough for independent-minded women, especially one framed for murdering her estranged husband. A research bonus for me? It's set in my hometown, Keokuk, Iowa.
